This page is to meet a requirement for Apple Computers. Eventually it will contain some form of a document that Apple Computers requires I write. Not legally binding of course, I am not a lawyer.

For now my privacy policy is :

You have no privacy on the internet, that concept of privacy is contrary to the nature and point of the internet - connecting and sharing information. That we try to limit and control access is an effort, not built-in or a guarantee. You simply have to consider that everything you share, even "privately", can end up spread further than you may want. And everyone is tracking everything possible about you. Well, okay that is really overstated, but it is a lot more than you imagine.

Businesses and governments are notorious for gathering information about people. In the physical world you have no privacy - everyone can see you, know you exist, see you and know that you come and go. If someone is living completely isolated from the world such that nobody knows of their existence, then they probably not on the internet.

Most things automatically gather information, without the knowledge of the provider. For example if you install a web server, if you don't read the docs or think about it - you'll be logging access to your server probably, without being aware of it.

But using this or any app, there are businesses gathering and storing information all over, all the time. With this app, downloading etc. is tracked by Apple, and I have no control over that. Too bad.

And I want to know if people download and look at this app, so I am gathering information to see if I can figure that out.

I won't know who is who, just the app on some device. I won't have time for this, but if I did I would watch the data to see if someone actually opens it more than once. Of course that would never answer why, I will just have to assume to laugh at how worthless it is.

Anyway Apple computers, you get your "Privacy Policy URL" now. I hope you're happy.
